| Once again the homecoming was held in the Community Church with repairs still needed on the Second Baptist Church for which a grant proposal has been submitted. This year's turnout was slim but those who attended were blessed by words from the Reverends Roger Mabrey, Jess Spurgin and Elder Wade. The scripture cited: For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
1 Corinthians 16, 9. Music from the Wayland Temple Singers was glorious as usual. Fellowship and refreshments followed. Next year is only one year away. | |
