Vince LutterbieSPEAKER: Dr. Vincent M. Lutterbie
Retired dentist, past city councilman, past associate professor at UMKC School of Dentistry

Dr. Lutterbie worked as a dentist in the private and public sectors. He was a seven term city councilman in Marshall. He has published one mystery novel, After the Facts. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1976 with BAs in Biology and Anthropology. He graduated in 1980 from the UMKC School of Dentistry. He and his wife have lived in Marshall for 31 years and raised their family here. He is past president of the Butterfield Youth Services board as well as past president of the Marshall Kiwanis. He is currently vice president of Friends of Jim the Wonder Dog. Dr. Lutterbie received no formal training in writing but After the Facts is rated as the fifth best all time mystery novel at Free-eBooks.net and does well at other venues. Dr. Lutterbie will speak to two issues: self-publishing vs. traditional publishing and a proposed joint venture between the Marshall Writers’ Guild and Friends of Jim. Mr. Larry Arrowood, Friends of Jim president, will be available to answer questions.
