Habits or Routines Associated with Your Writing (Excerpt)
Sounds are important: whether the scritch of the pen's nib on good paper, the satisfying click of the keys springing up after they've been smacked down, or whatever music fits the project, the sounds of and around writing have their effect on the process. These sounds don't give content to the writing, but can and usually do open up space for words to fill.
